Common Allergies That Many of us Face
Many people across the globe suffer from allergies. There are many common allergies that affect people of all races, and locations across the globe
One of these is dust allergies and is not limited to any race, sex, or location. This is the most common allergy on the planet, and can be hard to deal with.
Common allergies that spread across the globe are dust, mite, pet dander, pollen, and many others. It would take too long to list them all so we’ll just go over a few.
Dust allergies are the most common and can strike anywhere at any time. Considering at its basic level dust is just really fine dirt particles, anyone, anywhere can suffer from these allergies.
Mite allergies are a bit different then other forms of allergies. Mites are very small creatures that can crawl on your skin and bite you. Some people are allergic to the saliva from the mite, while others are allergic to the bug itself. These critters typically dwell on animals along with other parasites like fleas and ticks, which people can also be allergic to.
This brings us to pet dander which is another one of the most common allergies on the planet. Like dust allergies, pet dander can be found anywhere there are animals that have fur. Animals whose entire bodies are covered in fur suffer from some of the same skin conditions that human skin does. The dander that we scratch off of our heads sometimes is very similar to pet dander. Pet dander however is much smaller than our own and more easily breathed in.
This can lead to breathing problems, headaches, and skin irritations. This is one of the most medicated common allergies, and like dust allergies can strike anywhere. Bathing your pet does little to stop the problem as their bodies work differently from ours. Of course that’s common sense as they are animals, and we are humans.
Now we come to pollen which is a bit more contained, but can be the most annoying. Pollen allergies are caused by exposure to pollen from flowers and trees. This exposure can cause skin problems, but more often than not it causes breathing issues, sneezing, running nose, tearing up of the eyes, and headaches. There are many types of medications available ranging from pills, to liquids, and finally simple sprays.
Anyone can be affected by any of these allergies at any time. It’s not something that’s genetic, or a virus that can be treated, it’s simply a reaction to being exposed to these things. The best way to combat them is to avoid exposure, but that’s sometimes hard to do. In these instances you want to take medication about an hour before you know that you’ll be exposed to something that triggers your allergies.
While most common allergies are treatable some of them can have some serious side effects. Failure to treat them before or during an attack can lead to sever respiratory distress, or just an annoying headache. Many common forms of dust allergies are rarely more than annoying. However the irritation can interfere with your daily life. All you can do is avoid the irritants or take some medication.
